The first button closest to power turns the laser on/off. The one furthest away does nothing.

As I said before, "The button near the DC input is the power, that obviously needs to be on and the other is the "weak" power switch which is best left off except for testing (as it acts more like a self-destruct)".

It's possible you left the weak button on too long and the MOSFET is now shorted, terrible design I know but that's what it does.

So, unplug the laser and turn the power on. Then you can test the motors at least.

It's also possible the board is the older non-PWM variety in which case the laser would be always on. If there's a jumper under the Nano you are in luck as you can move that and then everything will work, if not, you can still use my Non-PWM firmware and everything will work correctly but without any laser power control. It will also only work with T2Laser.

sorry for the late reply, i have been away on business.

So i have connected the power and unplugged the laser, still nothing from the motors when i try and do a manual adjustment using t2.
what i am seeing is the TX Led constantly flashing and the RX doesnt flash when i send commands.

Unfortunately your best bet may be to get another controller (Eleks Mana).

yea thats been my thoughts as well recently. I have contacted the company about it and im wait ing for aresponse but may just go ahead and buy another controlller.

so i went ahead and bought a new controller from Eleksmaker and it arrived today.
So i now have a Eleksmake Mana SE v3.2

Any advice before i install this please so i dont posssibly destroy another board?

You should be able to connect it and test, T2Laser will work with the Eleks firmware for testing and then you can upgrade to the 1.1e DEFAULT if you choose.

Gotta check the pinout for the laser first as this baortd appears to have a 3 pin laser slot where as my laser is only 2 pins

If you laser is 2.5W or less you can use the motor connector, it's the same MOSFET switched output as your old board.

If the laser has a TTL input you should use the laser connector.

so i put the cables into the motor pins and now the laser will not work the fans turn on but no output from the laser at all on Pulse or on all the time.
i am so close but yet so far. Any suggestions welcome

Plus is the X axis motor supposed to get burning hot and its the only motor to be making a high pitched hwining noise when at idle.

No. The motors should not get hot, or whine when idle.

Check the connections, make sure the wiring isn't backwards or something.

nothing has changed in the wiring for the x axis motor at all. Is there a pinout diagram i can reference at all.
I have logged this whole thing with the supplier to see what they are going to do.

If i have to get a refund and buy a new one do you have any suggestions ata ll for the best one sub 200

The drivers should be set correctly but you could check the current limits just to rule that out.

You could also disconnect the belts and see if they work correctly without any loading.

The most popular brand seems to be the EleksMaker, but it's best to buy from their site to ensure it's genuine.
