Title: Per axis feed rate
Post by: toromand on November 29, 2016, 05:06:49 AM
As T2 Laser already supports cutting (even if it was not the main purpose of it, and we have BCL), it would be nice to support different feed rates for X/Y axis independently. What do you think?

That is the reason you have BCL  ;)

Pick the right tool for the job, don't try to hammer the nail with the wrench (spanner for us Brits).

Yes, I was afraid you would say that... I am happy with T2 and especially with the file format(s) support (which is not really a strong point of BCL). Also, my experience with BCL and some DXF import is not so nice (issues with inch/mm not recognized, etc).

I still think BCL is great, but I can live with T2 only for now :) (I do all my jobs in T2 especially combining engraving and cutting)

Talking of T2 I have noticed a bug in the latest (p) version, but I will post in the main Updates thread.

Best regards
