Hello, I got 3w laser for my birthday and quickly found out it just did not have the power I needed to do what I wanted. My wife ordered a 15w upgrade, (thank you, my love) but it did not hook up the same as the 3w. Pictured below is what I thought I needed to do, but it does not work. The button on the blue board seems to be low power and full power. I made a cable thinking that is what was needed to control the laser power through T2Laser.
How do I hook this up properly to make it work?
Note; using T2Laser Firmware 1.1e ???

Looks like you have a 2-wire PWM controller and a 3-wire TTL level driver. I would suggest getting a new controller with the 3 wire output. The alternative is to tap the TTL control signal from the CPU. If you supplied the 12V laser from the controller to the driver you may have fried the driver board.

what control board would you recommend?

I do not have one but understand that the ElksMaker ManaSE is a good option for TTL.

Thank you to Zax with T2Laser for helping me get it working correctly.
Direct solder on the Nano pin D11 to the TTL wire in the 3pin setup and also needed GND jumper from the Nano to the 3pin GND Refer to picture.

glad you got it working. Would you mind sharing the info on the 15w laser you upgraded with...
not that I will get one, just for educational purposes of course!!

Yes, inquiring minds want to know! What can the 15W do that our 2.5W units can't? Especially interested in what it can cut, and how quickly.
