Im trying to do a few mascot images on a 8x8 piece of wood and it's saying it's going to take 250 minutes to do a 5x5 inch image, is there any tips or tricks around this

Trying to make projects with the sorry benbox laser program, how long can I run this Continuously. Tried ding a piece about 4-5 inches by 4 and was going to take like 3 hours, I have the 1600mw 7x11 also noticed I have to mirror everything
