Thanks for the answer, I have to fix a new cable and try. I hoop for better gray scale with this module.

Hi, I am in the same position. Have got a 2.3W head and a Mana SE board, but the laser module has two 2-pin connectors and the Mana SE laser port is 3 pin. There is only a 2-pin power cord delivered with the laser module. The previous 2.5W module is powered from the card as you know. Which pins should be connected?
I'm sorry if I have missed an already answered question.

EleksMaker Mana SE / Re: Mana SE no firware upload

One of the el-lyt was the problem. Replaced and the card is working as expected.

Thanks for answer, I will check the switch agan. I also suspect the ellyt but I had no suitable in stock. Would be interesting to see the schematics but the PCB is probably mulyilayer and you can't put a prob in all interesting points. Noticed the Mana Se was out of stock in the EU-warehouse. It takes for ever from China  :-[

Ok, I think I have solved that problem. After trying X-loader I succeded to upload  firmware with T2. The other problem seams to be hardware related. No voltage across the 1000uF 16V el-lyt, with the button up or down (!). Have checked with different cabels and powersup. 12V feeds to the switch but after that? With no schematic its tricky to figure out whats going on.

Hi, new Mana SE card with 2 problems.
1: The LED D4 flashes when button is pressed but goes out an then ev flashes. Is that LED suppsoes to be on continues?
2: trynig upload firmare with T2Laser but get only errors ... not in sync..

Any idea?

Engraving / Re: Suggestions for Engraving Leather
« on: February 09, 2017, 03:14:41 AM »
Hi, as usual much usable information. I'm using a 2.5W non TTL laser and the very good T2laser.
Have made some etching on leather for some knife makers. Found the settings 1000  230  .05  giving a good result.

Laser Modules / Re: 3.5W Laser Head with TTL Driver

Hi, I'm following this thread with great interest. I have a non TTL 2.5W module from BangGood and have had limited sucess with gray scale  :(  and thinking of this 3.5W as a possibly upgrade.
Any example of image engraving? How abt cutting with this one?
I understand the exchange demands some hard ware change and some how2 would be much apreacheated.

Gear template generator from http:\\ looks very nice. Have only played around a little with it but generates dxf usable in T2 and probably with BCL but have not tested.

Alternative Applications & Firmware / Adafruit Feather

Looks like an interesting alternative to the nano with 48MHz clock and 256 kB program memory, micro SD card and LIpO charger.
Programming with Arduino enviroment.  Card size 24 x 51 mm.
Anyone made some tests? Got a card today...

Trouble Shooting / Re: T2laser scale problem

Ok, I'm using ver 1.3e downloaded and got the license last week. Don't think I have issues with computer memory, have 12GB installed and no other application running. Uses this PC for 3D modeling and animations without any problems.
The small picture I tried to engrave when the issues appeared was BW and only 5x5cm. I did not save the settings but I thing the resolution was set to 0.05 by mistake and both dithered and Photo mode was checked.

I did not realize that the license was locked to one computer before paying which gives me problems, I have no ventilation in the PC-room and my plan was to have the license on the laptop. That forced me to stop experimenting.

that fixed the scale problem but after some lines of work the laser stops moving and burns in one point.
I have also got a box asking me to report interrupt error, memory full, sorry I did not copy the box.
Vector work has so far worked without problems, photo etching either greyscale or dithered stops after a while.

Thanks for reply, I tried ctrl-click on the envelope but that only started the g-code tranmission. No differens.
Output size is also a "dead" button with no visual response.
My  computer runs win10pro, if that can be an issue?
