Cleaning and lubrication made it usable and when I contacted the seller they decided to send me a replacement.  :D

Long awaited my 3018 arrived yesterday and most looks very good but  of the linear bearings for the Y-axis don't slide easy along the axis. Seams to be som kind of misalignment inside? Is there som kind of fix for that or do I have to wait some weeks for a replacement?

Ok, but the same version of T2 handled the file different. On the PC no offset and on the laptop with offset. Both with same OS, win 10, 64bit.
Got the file from a friend, don't know which cad he used.

T2 Engraving / T2 v1.5t problem

Hi, I have 2 licenses for T2, one on a PC and one on a Laptop. For job that may generate much smoke or smell I take the laptop outside.
That worked vy good until last job. Importing a dxf works as expected on the PC but is shifted half ways out of screen on the laptop version. To the left and down.
I generated the gcode on the PC and copied to the laptop and result as expected.
What can be the problem. Same problem with two dxf-files.  One file attached.

Ok, that's my plan to, to keep the motor holder and find a better spindel motor with 52mm diam. 400 - 500 W will be more wight to move but I think it will work.

Hi, been looking for a small cnc for some time and studied all those videos and comments.
Using my table top as my workspace determines the max size  and I found something like
the 30x18 class to be what I can handle, with the limitations that implies.
I found many complains on stability for the models with a lot of 3D printed parts and Im looking
for a little more rigid model.
Found this named 3018 MAX or 3018 Pro-Max, on Ali-express. All metallic but spindle motor is probably a bit week? 40x40 profile for frame should be better than 25x25 I think?
Has someone any experience with this model?

Mini CNC / Re: CAM software

Hi, I'm in a similar situation, waiting for a mill and searching for software. I installed FreeMill and that looked very promising untill I understood that the free version don't support more then one pass of milling, which means only very thin models can be handled whiteout the risk of breaking the tool.

Thanks for the answer, I have to fix a new cable and try. I hoop for better gray scale with this module.

Hi, I am in the same position. Have got a 2.3W head and a Mana SE board, but the laser module has two 2-pin connectors and the Mana SE laser port is 3 pin. There is only a 2-pin power cord delivered with the laser module. The previous 2.5W module is powered from the card as you know. Which pins should be connected?
I'm sorry if I have missed an already answered question.

EleksMaker Mana SE / Re: Mana SE no firware upload

One of the el-lyt was the problem. Replaced and the card is working as expected.

Thanks for answer, I will check the switch agan. I also suspect the ellyt but I had no suitable in stock. Would be interesting to see the schematics but the PCB is probably mulyilayer and you can't put a prob in all interesting points. Noticed the Mana Se was out of stock in the EU-warehouse. It takes for ever from China  :-[
