Thanks Zax, yes I understand that the motion control is just as important as perfect laser control and this may be the next thing we have to get in perfect control. It can be done and we will do it. Thanks again..

Zax I appreciate that very much. We need to get this to work on T2, other firmware other than jtech when it was scoped out showed the linearity was not very good and the duty cycle was low so that was a major thing that was worked on in this firmware and that part of the firmware has less than 1% error. I am very interested in gray scale and with your input I know we can make it work.

I made changes in spindle, this is in the test stages and this is why we really need people to try is and let us know where we can make changes to get it working like it should . We really could use your input Zax.

General Discussion / New TEST Firmware
« on: September 28, 2016, 09:24:20 AM »
This is a modified firmware based on the .9j. The PWM frequency has been lowered to 978Hz and the duty cycle has been raised and made more linear . I have checked it on BCL and T2 it has not been tested on other software. I would like for anyone interested in trying this firmware and giving your input on it. Their is a small group of us here who are working hard on firmware and hardware to do our best to better the laser and make it more affordable to all.

Ralph I get the same thing as Richard it times out. I have the 1.1.1 restricted. The bottom of my screen looks just like the one you posted. I have everything set correctly, it just times out. You are using different BCL than what we are.

Send me your 1.0d file and I will try to load it into my BCL...
Here it is Ralph, let me know .

This is the same board I have and it works fine . I have loaded the 1.0d on it and I connected to BCL just fine.
I could not load a 1.0d hex file using BCL even after following the directions on the setup screen but on the Nano BCL will load it every time with no problem.

I try when possible to get from US warehouse and get usually in 4 or 5 days. The things i have gotten from China has taken anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.  Things that have been shipped using DHL usually arrive in less than 2 weeks.
