How did you find this forum?
« on: April 22, 2016, 06:19:09 PM »
I'm curious how our current members came to find this forum. I found it after a lot of Googling.

I think we should post the URL on the various vendor sites that sell these DIY laser kits. It's win-win for us (to get more brains involved) and for them (to learn what we have here).

This will also give Zax and Ralph more exposure to help in the selling of their software, which is also beneficial to new laser owners.

In that vein, Gearbest has an affiliate program that could be used to help Admin earn some $$ to pay for the site costs. In other words, banner ads. I'm sure some of the other vendors have similar opportunities. Speaking for myself - I have no problem with some banner ads on these pages if it helps defray costs.

Just some thoughts I had. I love this group/forum and would like to see it continue to grow and evolve.

p.s. Don't forget to post up how you originally found this place.

THX!

I just stumbled across this forum while trying to learn as much as I could about my machine while waiting for it to arrive.

I agree the more brains the better.

This forum is already a great asset to all of us and I have no problems with seeing a few advertisements to keep the site up and running.

I found it by accident too, and have also posted links on a few other forums and sites.

This is a great forum and Ralph could definitely look for sponsors such as banggood and gearbest to offset costs. It would actually help them sell machines if people knew what they were capable of.

I found it in my massive research to figure out what I was doing.  Thankfully Zax and Ralph have learned me a lot...there was a huge learning curve for me at the beginning but I still have a lot to learn.

I like this Forum and Zax Software.
The best place for Benbox laser users!!

I found this Forum, because i searched some Settings for benbox (with which Settings i can cut or engrave different materials)

The only Problem is, that i canīt go online everytime, because there are, sometimes Problems to connect from Germany.
But with Proxies out of the US it mostly works.

Hi iīve got a A3 5500mW laser from Banggood

Hello, newbie here. I found this excellent forum after identifying my laser cutter as the Benbox brand (bought it via Ebay). Thanks for all the resources and tools that are made accessible here!

Welcome Bootcat

I found this when I was researching to decide if I wanted to purchase a engraver. I was concerned abut the problems with the factory program and was concerned I would not be able to get it working once I got it. I read about every post once I found it and decided with the support and helpfulness of everyone I couldn't go wrong. So far it has been a good experience with the info I have received from this forum and I thank all for their contributions.

Hi everyone,
I found this site by putting in a Google search for Benbox Diy laser forums,
I've learnt so much from this forum and I think Zax's program is fantastic 👍

I found this searching for an affordable laser for rotary cutting. I'm not sure if this one can be adapted to that application. Any advice?

It could, but I don't think it's a good platform for rotary engraving.

Welcome @Chipshape...!!!

May I ask you to please post your question in the General Benbox section? More people will see it there and its topic fits much better there.

Thanks...
