How to scale Imported JPG's or other graphics
« on: December 23, 2016, 03:56:20 PM »
I have full scale jpg graphics I import and they print at about 1/2 scale.  I have tried different methods such as mm or inch and different graphic formats.  I have to take the DXF data into Adobe Illustrator and then output as JPG to get the fill in the block letters.  If I could find a way to fill the letters in the dxf file that would import into T2LASER I would as the cutting from the DXF file is spot on.  just not filled.  I am burning away paint from enclosure boxes to expose the Alum of the box.  Paint is texture power coat.

I don't know about Illustrator but in other programs you can usually apply a hatch fill and convert it to paths so it's included in the DXF, otherwise fills are not exported since they're not vector.

The imported JPG size will depend on your resolution, if you match the saved resolution to what you have selected in T2Laser when you import the size will be exact. Of course you can also change the size using the output icon.
