Furniture
« on: January 09, 2017, 03:45:19 PM »
Hi,

I am trying to make furniture in the size 1:32.

Here is an example of my first attempt at a bookcase.
Unfortunately two shelfs did brake, due to the false direction of cutting the piece.

Nice. I want to do a desk!  But I'm not talented enough to design it. Did you design this yourself.

I await the results of your full size solid oak desk with all the pieces cut with a 2.5W laser diode.

You'll need BCL with full Z axis support for that project...right?

This bookcase was designed from scratch. This one is made out of 1 mm balsa, but the final versions will be made out of 1 mm birch triplex.
I have already drawings for a workbench, a worktable, a desk and a clothing cabinet.
I first burn them from cardboard to check the design for fitting.

Most items will go into a toolshed on the side of my roundhouse, which also will be made by laser cutting. The round house will ultimately be 2.4 meters in width and 1 meter in depth with nine entries for locomotives.
