Getting back into lasering (is it now a verb?) and I was looking for something easy to help me get back into it.
I found this, a Vietnamese blog with a few 'templates' in different formats. I will be trying a few.

Those are cool, I've done much simpler versions as gifts and cards but nothing as complex as those.

Laser origami

uuumm... seems I was away from the laser for too long and it now hates me...
I managed to set fire to the test burns I was doing...
it worked fine whilst I was watching it, turned my back and had a small BBQ on my hands. I suspect thin writing paper is not the best test material on 100% power....
At least I know my fire alarms all work!!
off to buy some decent thicker card paper stock and some thin foam rubber sheets if I can find then (for making stamps).
I will post pictures of any progress, I really like the 'love 'box one with the butterfly on it.
