Windows XP to Windows 10 license question
« on: March 15, 2017, 12:05:19 AM »
I like the software and Im planning to buy a license, my question is: when I buy a windows xp license will i be able to use it with windows 10? Im using a windows xp system now - for the laser only, without any network connection - all other work is done on my MAC. So if I buy the xp license now, can I switch to win 10 using the same license without problems?
Best regards from Germany

The standard license is for a single PC, so when you get a new computer you need to purchase a replacement license (50% off and comes with 1 year of updates).

If you were upgrading the existing computer (changing the O.S.) then it would not require another license,

I have alternate licensing options, send me an email if you are interested.

Ok,
so I will buy a new PC first, no Problem, do I need a internetconnection to register the software? The PC will be a standalone machine in my garage - there is no internet.
Best regards

No. It does not require an internet connection for the license, however, when you install T2Laser it requires Microsoft .Net 4.5 or above to be installed. The installer will automatically attempt to download any files that are needed.

You can get an offline installer from Microsoft and load it yourself if needed, although most computers already have it.
