I like it!!! I will have to do some research on this machine. I am still in the market and have my heart set on a MakerSelect v2 or 3Dplus, but this could be an awesome kit to built.

Thanks for sharing!

Hard to beat that price! I'd prefer it have a RAMPS 1.4 controller board. They are inexpensive as I just purchased two of them for $6.95 each from FolgerTech to get my 3D Printer back up and running.

The nice thing is all those mods are essentially free since it comes with the filament to print the mods.  I am still awaiting my prusa.  Should be here at the end of the month and they just upgraded to the mk2s so mine will not need any mods :) I spend enough time modding my laser that I didnt want to invest too much time into another toy to make sure it works right.

No I have Printrbot Simple Metal (6" x 6" x 6")($824) (factory assembled) and a Printrbot Play(4"x 4" x 5")upgraded from a simple kit. And I still do not get those good of results with my printers. Experience. Which that guy seems to have helps a lot.

My kit started at $350 for plywood. At this point I am at about $600 into that kit. And it has a bunch of upgrades.

Considering the print size at 8" x 8", 200 x 200mm and has a heated bed, that kit is a great value.
