1000 Line Demo Limit?

I thought the trial version of T2 allowed 10,000 gcode lines but mine won't do anything over 1000 lines. I haven't been able to crop a picture small enough to try. Can you provide a trial picture to use or provide some picture size guidelines?

That is correct, the trial generates 10,000 lines of G-Code but in v1.2n I added a 1,000 line send limit.

This has since been removed as I agree it wasn't sufficient to evaluate image engraving.

When upgrading is it best to uninstall the previous version before installing a newer version? When I tried to run the new 12n installer I received an error code, so I thought I'd ask.

It's necessary to uninstall T2 before installing another version.

I would suggest uninstalling from control panel and then installing the new version.

I do extract to the exact same path, *except* the highest level directory, which includes the version. (So, yeah, it is different.)

I guess if I renamed that or extracted it to a generic name, the installed won't know the difference. Uninstalling is pretty easy.
