Yeah there are default sketch sizes but the last option gives you a manual size so you can adjust to your machine. I have an a5 and the default a5 isn't quite the right dimensions so I always use custom size sketches

Ordered some Caligraphy pens with different nib sizes. Must just figure out how to mount the pen at a angle otherwise you will lose the "stroke" effect going upwards or downwards. Also as I said in previous post to Zak need to play around with the fonts so that the font is completed in one go with all the strokes.

I always use the custom option too. You shouldn't be selecting the max size of your machine, rather the job size you want (e.g. the material size you have to work with).
