CNC basics
« on: August 11, 2017, 02:22:03 PM »
I had a few people asking about setting up T2Laser for CNC so I created this "really" quick guide:

or for those (like me) that prefer Z+ to be down:

Thanks. I've been creating these for different users and purposes so decided to start releasing them.

  • If it doesn't fit - you're not using enough force.

I don't suppose you could call the settings as part of the shortcut, so you can create a desktop shortcut that starts with settings for "cutting vinyl" or "carving pine on the CNC mill"
Laser: 2500mw A3 Banggood with eleksmana se
OS: Windows 10
Software: T2
3D printer Tevo Tarantula
CNC Mill Bangood, - assembled, not yet used.

Not currently, but you can use the profiles to store the settings and recall those. I will look at adding a command line switch to load with a profile, then you could change the shortcut as you suggest (a good idea).
