Hi there, I know how to add text to a sketch, select the font, the size and the style.
I know how to place the text.   But I do not know how to flip it so it's a mirrored image of the text
so I can cut it reversed...   There does not appear to be any working Menu items in sketch mode,
and when I generate Gcode, and try to flip vertical or horizontal, the text does not flip.

just wondering what key step i may be missing... :)

If i load a jpg, or graphic into the software, the flip buttons work, just text generated in sketch do not appear to flip,
and I can still change them to filled or empty text, so I know the text does behave differently... so it's user error I'm sure,
but I still dont know how to flip the text. :)

It's really easy. After you enter the text and before you click to lock it, press F (to flip) or L/R (to rotate).

You can also select it and press P and the parameter edit screen will allow you to flip, rotate etc.

i always remember it as p for properties.  Under P, whatever its called, the option is flip y axis to mirror the text.

The shortcuts are listed in the manual.

In both the Sketch section:
      Additional Keys
Press Delete to erase selected object
Press L and R to rotate object
Press F to flip the object (Y-axis)
Press P to open the parameter entry screen (move or change object)
Press Ctrl to toggle axis lock

And the Keyboard Shortcuts section:
      Sketch
  Rotate, L and R
  Text Alignment, C
  Flip, F
  Parameter (Edit Mode), P
  Lock Axis, Ctrl
  Information Overlay, I
  Zoom (Auto), Z

If you need the shortcut to open the manual, it's Shift-F1  ;D
