wires wires every where, and not a place to plug
« on: October 12, 2017, 10:45:32 AM »
Well, not quite
However

i have the mana se with its white laser connectot containing + _ and s

ok got that , undersytand that for a 3 wire laser module

there is also a motor  port

NOW

I have a laser module that has a sepearate "controller board" with V in and ttl both odf which are 2 wire

OK
I can wrap my head round how to connect both -ve lines and use a 3 pin plug

but CAN I (for the sake of KISS ) plug the pwm/ttl into s and - on the laser port  and plug v in into the motor port

or will that cause some god awful conflict ??

on the 3 pin laser connector, the V+ and V- (gnd) are constant voltage (always on) and the S pin controls the intensity of the laser.
On the 2 pin motor connector, the V+ and V- are switched on and off at the rate the laser should be on or off.

Simplest way to do it is just use the 3 pin.
V+ to V+
tie both V- (gnd) wires together (from PWR and TTL) and land on V- (gnd)
TTL to S
