My attempt at a Z axis
« on: October 28, 2017, 03:49:54 AM »
We're building a plasma table at work, and I'm using my Elekslaser as a test bed for a few of the features; end stops, work offsets, and a Z axis.

I don't have any smooth rod lying around, but I've got tons of 2020, so I'm building a Kossel-like Z axis that should be fairly light in weight, simple and small.  Images to come.
