i wonder why nobody goes with visicut it is opensoource and it has a basic gbrl driver inside so some could figure out to make a driver for our lasers !

because most people purchasing the small laser machines lack the knowledge to go raw opensource. It is easier to purchase a complete board.

most professionals use co2 laser systems which dont run grbl.  Diode laser users/ grbl users are almost all hobbiests.
