« on: November 14, 2017, 02:14:15 AM »
Him

I just cant seem to get Benbox to ork on my Chinese Laser.
I would like to try T2 Laser and would ne more than happy to pay for if it works.
But I can seem to find clear instructions on how to do it on my machine.
Can someone direct me to this information?

This is my laser.

Also - can I use Benbox again after installing T2?

Your help would be appreciated as I am getting very frustrated.

I didn't realize it would be this hard to get my laser going.

I downloaded T2 and installed it...but it doesn't seem to work. Are there any hardware adjustments I need to make?
Where in T2 do I select my laser?

Mil, you are welcome to email me for any support questions but I will do my best to help you here also.

Your machine looks like an EleksMaker clone so the standard firmware should work, since you didn't have the machine working in Benbox there could be several issues.

1. Install the CH340 driver, a link is in the Help menu.
2. Load Grbl 1.1e firmware (this is not compatible with Benbox software) found in the Machine menu.
3. Set the COM port and baud rate, then connect and verify you get the Grbl Ready message.

You should be able to control the X/Y axis using the arrow icons, turn the laser on and off with the laser icons.

Let me know what works or does not work and we will go from there.

Thanks Zax - that seemed to do the trick.

I can manually move the head - and turn laser on and off.

I really really appreciate it.  No to learn to use your software.
Any advice before I start digging in?
