Can you identify the line? I don't know which line you are referring to.

>.What happen to my number that not looking good and some times with good result ?

Most likely this is indicates a problem with your laser machine alignment; loose belts or belts too tight, wheels that don't turn/roll easily, etc.

Did you burn all of the BCL Test Shapes? These test shapes will work your laser head in all directions and bring to light any frame alignment problems.

If your frame and assemblies are aligned correctly, etc. I can assure you BCL will burn your Spline drawing objects correctly.

Try burning just the Spline 'numbers' and see if the problem is with certain shapes like the 4 or the 3 or the 8 etc.

Post that dxf file so I can take a look. It looks like that might be a bug in BCL...keeping the laser beam on when it should be off.

I'm not able to reproduce the problem you're seeing.

I have some suggestions however.

1. You have three major drawing objects in your DXF file. I would assign laser tools to one group and then save that to a toolpath file. Laser that group.

2. Load your dxf file again fresh and assign laser tools to another major group. Save the toolpath to a different toolpath file. Laser that group.

3. Repeat with the last group.

Now you can load your dxf file and then choose one of the saved toolpath files and load that in and laser it in the future.

Personally, I would not try to assign laser tools to everything in your dxf file at one time and try to laser them.

The other thing you could do is break your dxf file down into three files. Then load each major drawing group into BCL and assign laser tools, optionally save to a toolpath file (I would) and then laser it.

If you are still having this problem, we'll need to link up our PC's do a screen share session so I can see exactly what steps you are doing. Then maybe I can repro the problem.

Hi, Ralph

i think there is a bug maybe ...because when i move laser slow not more than 380mm laser head off, but if i move more than that there is a laser mark. i tried many times with success if i move slowly...thx

Doses this happen from any starting point?
Do you carriages roll smoothly?
What speed?
What is your power supply rating in Amps?

Are you etching (rastor) or cutting (vector)?
That speed is 380 mm/min?

I need to reproduce this bug in order to fix it.

Using the smallest number of drawing objects possible, can you give me the exact steps to make this happen? Then I can do exactly what you do and have a good chance of reproducing it and then fixing it.

Make sure you are using the latest BCL version.

Thanks...

Your pictures make no sense to me. If they are vector cuts, what are the line widths and what appears to be #D shading. Are you working from a 2D or 3D drawing?
