ADJUST TRAVEL ACCURACY

Finally have my Eleksmaker A3 2500mw machine up and running. Programmed and cut a 1 inch X 1 inch square in thin balsa. The -Y- axis dimension is .008 thousands larger than the -X- axis dimension. Where do I start to fine tune the accuracy? The belt tension seems to be equivalent to what is posted on the forum and Youtube. Is the belt tension suspect and is it acceptable to make small adjustments to $100 and $101 to achieve equal and accurate travel of -X- and -Y- axes.

The laser beam is often a rectangular pattern. Depending on the rotation of the focus lens you will get a different cut width (kerf).

Yes, you can adjust the step parameters. If you are using T2Laser it has a calibrate feature to do it for you, I'm sure whatever program you are using has something similar.
