Changelog for T2laser
« on: May 06, 2018, 05:39:05 AM »
Zax, is there a changelog for T2Laser? It prompted me for an internal update today and I always like to read whatís changed before updating. (If it ainít broken etc...)

Also, after updating ... is there an easy way to roll back to prior versions or should I make a backup before updating, in case of edge-case breakage.

Iíve got a pretty great workflow now and Iíd hate to lose it accidentally.

Many thanks,

- Ian

There is a change log in the manual, but I only list significant features. In this case it isn't listed as it was a bug fix, security update and I changed the simulation view to allow negative space (only necessary if you are importing G-code from another source since T2Laser only generates positive space).

I use Microsoft ClickOnce and their Azure server for deployment so you can roll back using Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. It saves multiple versions so you can roll back more than once as needed.

If the changelog is in the manual, thereís no way to read the changes until one has updated then?

Ok. Will check FB and good to know I can always update and rollback if need be.

Thank you Zax.
