update failed, now wont connect

Upon opening T2 this AM was notified of an update.  Proceeded to get it but when Norton issued a cautionary note I inadvertently hit the Remove option instead of the Proceed option.  Not only did that abort the update but it removed the program all together.  Ive reuploaded it but now it wont connect.  Im still a baby here so need a bit of assistance.
Much work remains to be done before we can announce our total failure to make any progress.

You could try Help / Restore Defaults and also Help / Diagnostics / Disable Auto-Connect, then make sure you select the correct COM port and 115200 baud rate.

If that doesn't work, I would completely remove T2Laser and reinstall.

To remove it: Go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0 and delete the sub folders but leave the 2.0 folder (change [username] to your user name).
