I need help update firmware

Hi everyone,

I need your help, since a few days I try to fix it out. I don't know what should I do...

I bought from Aliexpress  5500MW DIY High assembled LYbot-arm laser engraving machine label marking machine

I get the parcel last week and since that i try get started but I can't update firmware Benbox.

I find topic on banggood forum, so I installed this drivers ( they on dropbox)  https://forum.banggood.com/forum-topic-157839.html

and I follow the instructions till  "update firmaware" ( I have COM1 and COM15) ? what does mean COM's? so I chosse firmware

(Eleks-Benbox.hex) and try to update it but is show up ( red cross- falied)

I try to message to shop but its seems they dont care no drivers, no instruction ... SO please anyone can help me?>

They don't show a picture of the controller or mention it, the only reference is to the software Scarve which I haven't heard of but from the pictures it isn't Benbox.

I suspect they already loaded firmware, you may want to connect to the machine (try 115200 baud rate) using a terminal program (Arduino IDE, CoolTerm or even my T2Laser software in debug mode) to see what the welcome string says.

If it's using Grbl 0.9 or higher you probably don't need to worry about changing it just yet, just try a different software.

I manage to start, but its blank, two different COM's

It looks like you connected, but didn't receive any welcome message from Grbl.

Possibly they didn't install the firmware. Without knowing what controller you have I can't suggest the correct firmware. If you post a picture of the board I may be able to help.

I can't open it yet...will i lose warranty....
