I have a picture frame we bought where the inside is cut out, with words at
the bottom (see picture). I'd like to kind of duplicate this, and make my own.
I have 1/16" Maple Veneer and 1/8" Laser Plywood to play with. I thought
I'd try it with the veneer first.
First, though, I have the attached file I created in Paint Shop Pro. I imported
it into Inkscape and made it a DXF but I'm pretty sure I didn't do it correctly.
I'd like to duplicate the original picture frame, and have the parts of the letters
which extend beyond the interior be engraved, and the parts which are inside
the frame to be cut out.
Am I on the right track so far?
Thanks.
