Problem engraving and then cutting
« on: January 11, 2019, 05:52:51 AM »
Hi guys,
can I ask you something?
For years I used T2 to engrave and then cut jpg images in a lot of materials but now I have an issue: usually, I set starting point at upper left corner of image, engrave the image, then autotrace with cutting settings and cut, because 0-0 position of laser was the same for both operations.
It worked many times, but now cutting doesn't start on the upper left corner of image I open on T2, but on the corner of trace, so engraving and cutting are not on same position.
Maybe I really didn't explain myself, sorry for my bad english...
There could be some setting I wrongly switched to obtain this problem?
Thank you very much!

Disable relocate origin as that will shift the vector to 0,0.

You could also use Sketch (Overlay) mode to combine the image and vector automatically as a single job but the disadvantage (currently) is it will only do black and white engraving.
