I am trying to install new Firmware on my Zonestar P802NR2 3D Printer-v.5X, but I can't seem to get past the type of Printer you have.  I'm not sure what they want?  I've tried lots of names but none work.  I have the COM6 on the Computer.  The Firmware came from Zonestar's Web Site v.5X!  I'm using Arduino IDE set-up.  I need that name to finish the downloading the Firmware?  This is very hard to explain.  I'm trying to upgrade my 3D Printer. That's why I need the Firmware update.  You have to have downloaded Firmware on 3DP's to understand.  Thanks in advance for the help.

What firmware are you planning to install, Marlin?

There are plenty of tutorials for loading firmware to the RAMPS (RepRap Arduino Mega Pololu Shield) board.

e.g. https://www.my-home-fab.de/en/documentations/reprap-firmware/installing-marlin-firmware-on-ramps-1.4

Zax,
I'm trying to install Marlin on the Zone star Motherboard!  I'm using Arduino IDE I have the Firmware but it's asking for the name of the printer which is P802NR2 but it won't accept this name.  I have to somehow figure out what they want?
p.s.  Do you also support 3d Scanners.
Thanks,

If you mean 3D printers, yes T2Laser can generate G-code for them and in some cases you may be able to connect and send the data. 3D scanners are totally different and not supported.
