fill in text

I am making up this plate for the 'Shed' to attach to  the garden planters we are making.
How do I fill in the text with a burn ??

Select "Sketch (Filled)" from the Mode menu, or "Sketch (Hatch)" and set the hatching as required.

Incidently I am doing this burn in 2 parts, I burn the logo in one part and load another part to burn the lettering. Could this be completed in one pass ?? I have the logo as a jpg and the lettering I done using Sketch from the Menu.

Yes you could have done that several ways.

1. Single image with the text added
2. Vector file of the full image
3. Add the Sketch to the image using overlay mode
