Bitmap changes size in the Benbox
« on: September 09, 2016, 06:20:42 PM »
I set up in Corel image size for 40mm width, already in vector; I export as bitmap (jpg, png or bmp, whatever), when I open in the Benbox it is almost 50mm ... if open it in Photoshop, the image shows the correct size, but not in Benbox ... I see that changing output resolution (300dpi, 96dpi or other) that size varies.
What resolution should I use to keep the 40mm? or what else needs to be done?

Just resize it in Benbox, drag the corner node. I don't use it but from memory you can double click the top right node to open the control box and change some settings also.

this way not accurate, I need accurate measurement, 40mm, not 39.5 or 40.5 ... and has not how enter numerically ...
I use to fit for marquetry, there can be no clearance.
should not change the size, and it is only in benbox showing different...

Have you tried 72dpi?

You can lase a ruler if you use .DXF vector files instead of a bitmap (.BMP, .GIF, .JPG, etc.)

The 2nd image is a hatched 1cm x 1cm grid.

But you must use a vector file.

Yes, none of them work... =/

with .dxf works perfectly ... if I set 40mm in corel and I export as .dxf it remains in 40mm, but I need the bitmap to be able to dig the entire area where the cut piece will embedded ...
I will post a picture to get an idea ...
