Designed and printed some adjustable leg extensions tonight.
They allow me to set the entire engraver up 13cm higher than stock, for engraving on things like boxes. etc.

Wow!!!! That is amazing work.

I'm very impressed, tell me you used T2Laser for it so I can claim 0.05% credit  ;D

(if you didn't, just lie it will make me feel better about the long hours spent programming)

Opps, sorry, somehow missed your replies.

YES! I used T2Laser on all this, its the only software I have used on all my engravings.
Love it!

Messing with the EggBot extension in Inkscape now for hatching,
wanting to "fill" some things with just simple hatching which will make doing large engravings faster when I dont need it to be filled in completely solid.
But so far its showing really thick lined hatches in Inkscape., trying to figure out how to change that.
[EDIT] Seems to be making the correct thickness lines now, still need to do some test engravings to see what spacing looks good.

Got my replacement 2.3W TTL laser installed, and its working muuuuuuch better than my 5w did.
Been experimenting and cranking out some new things, might start an Etsy store soon.

Absolutely beautiful, I love seeing your work. Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad you are back up and running, and that the TTL laser is working well for you.

Beautiful "creations" you've got there. It's nice to see this kind of personal touch added to our projects. I use the hatch fill in Eggbot all the time. I hope you have the version 2.8 of it More control and ease of use. It's nice to add shadowing and darkness level of fills using either crosshatch or diagonal lines. I do some of my "experiments" on chipboard (aka shirt cardboard) until I get things close to what I want. Again, nice stuff.

Beautiful pieces! Love them! and I am curious..

Please, could you share a bit more about them?
I mean like size, engraving time, how you've colored them?

Thank you :)
