T2 Engraving / T2 CNC surface scanning / auto leveling / Edge scan?
« on: March 15, 2018, 03:45:15 AM »
Hi Zax

It could be great if your T2Laser software could surface scan  :)

and maybe edge scan

Projects / Rotary engraving in glas with diamond drill bit
« on: March 12, 2018, 03:41:36 PM »
Hi Here is my first try , engraving a bottle with my rotary diamond drill bit.

It works first time, pouring few drops of water now and then

3 passes with a speed of 500 (full speed on the motor)

The connection bit hole to my motor is 3.1 , but my diamond drill is only 2.9 so is was a little shaky

Using T2Laser from Zax everything works just fine  :)

General Discussion / Stepper motor Nema 23 connecting
« on: March 03, 2018, 10:50:29 AM »
Hi

I have this eleksmana board 3 axe

https://www.banggood.com/3-Axis-Stepper-Motor-Driver-Board-Controller-Laser-board-For-DIY-Laser-Engraver-p-1015947.html?rmmds=myorder&cur_warehouse=CN

and a Nema 23 stepper motor in this rotary tool

https://www.banggood.com/CNC-Router-Rotational-Rotary-Axis-CNC-Machine-Accessory-Tailstock-for-4th-Axis-p-1154485.html?rmmds=myorder&cur_warehouse=CN

It comes without a connector so just to be sure

The stepper motor have 4 wires but I am not 100% how to solder the wires to the connector 4-pin
Red, yellow, blue, green

What is the correct connection (i could guess that is is the same as my Eleksmana steppers)

I think that this datasheet for the Nema 23 is the correct one saying that it draws 2.5A and the board can draw 2A
Is it a problem drawing this Nema 23 motor?

Great if you can  :)

EleksMaker IV Axis / Connecting 2 and 3 axes boards
« on: February 07, 2018, 01:31:55 AM »
Hi

Now I have a 2 axes and a 3 axes board , both EleksMaker

I was thinking of bridge the two together so I have at least a 4 axes to work with.

I am looking for a rotary setup so I can keep my z-axes

Is this any good?

General Discussion / Moving z-axe on T2Laser each passes
« on: December 28, 2017, 10:52:16 AM »
Hi

Now I have used 2 hours to search for a solution, but I can't figure it out

I have a Eleksmana 3 axe on a A3 Eleks laser

My z -axe works fine and I can move the z down for each passes

The problem is that the laser stays on while moving the z axe down, making a big hole before continue with the next pass

What is the correct settings to move the laser focus down for each pass?
