so, how do i tell what kind of Molex these use?
This is a 6 pin with 4 wires...
the plug is 11mm wide.
I have some JST-XHP 2,3,4,5 pin but not this 6 pin ones... grr

if anyone has a link to the cable done or just the molex and pins, then I can make.

Ok got a dual Y Axis CNC with a Eleksmaker SE v3.1 board.
The motors are a 42HS34-1304A
When I take the gear off one of the motors and have the other unplugged, I click control laser then an up or down and the motor just does this pathetic vibrate with no real movement.
If I connect the drive gear and belt and plug both in, they both do the same vibrate.
thoughts?
If I unplug the Ys and plug the X into one of the Ys then that motor moves fine.

Also when I have it all plugged in and do the X it is opposite what I press. Left if right and right is left.

thoughts?

I have a stack of 16 old iPhones that have good screens but might have bad chargers, batteries and such.
Anyone here have a link to ideas to use these for?
I would think that the screen could be used as an interface for something... sheesh its touch screen after all.
So, does anyone know what I might be able to turn these into?

hmm, I tried that too
I imported the file, went to force conversion but the measurement was still 5K or so
I then cleared image, then made sure it was clicked and then imported but it still didn't do it.
Maybe I am missing a click?
Ill send a screenshot tonight when I get home.

Thanks Zax, I am sure its a user error and be just trying to go from a basic thing to advanced to soon. Like I did the bee and put it together, then I did a Dragon on 1mm and caught the wood on fire. LOL so more testing.

So, I did a burn of a 3d puzzle, when I imported the dxf it brought it in at like 3Kx5K instead of 130ish...
When I looked at it on qcad and also printed it as a pdf on a page with 100% scale it was 130ishmm wide.
But in T2 import dxf it was huge. Sure I downsized to 130 and it was fine, but why? what am I missing?
also where is the setting to change what power for what color?
The file I am burning is black lines and red numbers, but it looks like red is 80% and at 200 speed with a 5.5w and 3mm plywood... the letters burn though, I would like to do 10-20% power maybe for the red.
Or is it easier to open in Inkscape and click on each number set and change the color to the lower scaled.

thoughts?

T2 Engraving / Re: Need help with grey scale and 5.5W laser
« on: January 11, 2018, 05:17:42 AM »
I use that same circle template that you have in your post for greyscale.
But I find that 5.5 is to hot for most wood stuff. When I want to burn wood I downsize to the 2.2 and it burns much nicer.
I know you should be able to dial it down to the right temp but its fickle and demoralizing for me to keep getting my butt kicked by a laser module.

So I use the 5.5 for slates and cutting and the 2.2 for woods, and the .5 for the neighbor cat, jk jk

My power supply took a poo on me the other day and I had to replace that.
So I would see if the power supply is working or not.
I had to order one as my town didnt carry a large enough one to work. everything was for small electronics, not like the 5A I was looking for.
