I'm so glad I can do that.  How do I turn it on in the firmware?

I have an EleksMaker Mana SE v3.2.  I'm wondering if I can connect to D9 and GND using the header as shown in the pictures attached so I don't have to solder.  Thanks.

I switched the Y1 and Y2 wires on the controller and it engraved correctly!  Text was no longer backward.

Thanks so much for sending the schematics.  Since I didn't know how to read/fix it, I bought a new controller from Banggood.  I just had a chance to test it and it works!  I used the Benbox software and it engraved the Benbox word backward.  I'll look around to see how I can fix that.  I will try T2 next.

I think it's the one where the red arrow is pointed to in the attached picture?

Sorry I'm new to this.  How do I verify that?

We were able to connect the laser module directly to the power source and it came on.  So the laser module works.  It seemed that the pin male connector for the laser on the controller was bad.  There was no continuity when we tested using the multimeter.  We're not sure how to fix it.

My husband has some tools...  I was going to buy this connector (https://www.amazon.com/VeeDoo-Universal-Switching-Transformers-Connector/dp/B07VBBMZBJ) to connect to the laser module to see if it works but my husband said he had something at home that we might be able to try this evening.

I think my next step would be to check if the laser module works.  Is there an easy way to connect it to the 12v power source directly?  If the laser module works then I need to get a new controller.  Do you have a recommendation?  Thanks.

I tested with Grbl 1.1e Non-PWM and D12 post processor.  The laser still didn't fire.  I did notice that when I had this setting, the green LED light was on constantly.    When I loaded the default Grbl 1.1e, the green LED light only turned on when I turned on the laser (from T2).

Also when I used Benbox, if I put 11 in the Laser setting, the green LED light turned on when i turned on the laser.  If I put 12, the light wasn't turned on when I turned on the laser.  Does it mean the laser is on D11?

I loaded Grbl 1.1e Non-PWM.  Does that automatically enable the D12 post processor or I have to enable it somewhere?  The laser didn't turn on with Grbl 1.1e Non-PWM loaded.  Thanks.

Thanks for the quick responses.  I'll try to load Grbl 1.1e Non-PWM with D12 post processor.  I need to get it working so I can complete a xmas gift on Sunday.  I have attached a better picture of my controller here.  If I have to replace the controller, do you have a recommendation?

Trouble Shooting / Laser won't turn on

I just bought this CNC Laser engraving machine.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/123834145232

I assembled it and the x and y axis moved but the laser didn't fire when I commanded it from T2.  I tried yesterday Benbox, and now just tried T2 but the laser wouldn't turn on, the fan didn't run neither.  The green light on the control board turned on though.

I installed T2, updated the firmware, and send default parameters.

I used a voltmeter to check where it's connected on the controller board, there was no reading (there was a reading of 12v when I check where the x, y1, y2 connected to the board).  I don't know if the controller board is bad or the laser module is bad.  I have attached a picture here.  Please let me know if you have any suggestion on what I can check.  Is there an easy way to connect the laser module directly to check if it works?

Thanks!
