Laser Fan

I wonder if the connector on this 40mm fan fits the sockets on the Eleks boards?  At just £3.99 and post free in UK it is a great price for a spare laser module fan.

These PC fans vary for power...a good "blower" costs about £7-10 and then the plug (like the one in the photo) may be too large. 

You need a MINI JST as has been mentioned on here a few times. 
It should be the same size as the one that fits the laser socket so measure the height and width.   Try 3D printer retailers....

JST make a variety of plugs..look the same.... but vary in size by small amounts.

We just connected a similar fan with similar looking connector to an Eleks Maker L2 board. It plugged directly into the 12V socket. working on a fan mount to hang it down to blow smoke away from the laser.

This is the connector kit that fits. I assume you can buy it on eBay in the UK too.

Yes I have a connector kit similar to that! JST-XH 2 pin is the right connector. If your fan does not spin then swap wires. They will only run if the polarity is correct.
