I am using CURA 15.04.4. I have installed a newer version, 2 point something but have not tried it yet.

I also have used Repetier. Matter control also works, but have not used it much.

I have been completely frustrated by 2.6. 15.0x workes OK. 26 says it can't find the printer on the USB but it can and actually start printing after a long delay. Still say no printer attached while printing.

Also, 2.6 seems to corrupt the existing 15.x settings. Changed the layer height to 0.0 and 15.x then gets divide errors in a python file. It spews a tons of messages. The useful ones are hidden in the massive spam.

I use Linux so I guess I could download and build from scratch. Think I will wait for stability.

I think the one I installed is 2.6?

It seemed to be pretty good sized and need a lot of resources. Ok for my desktop, but not the tablet that runs my printer. The Tablet is only 2 GB memory on an Atom processor. So I have to be aware of what is being used.

CURA 15.04.4 works real well on the tablet. That gives me a standalone machine!
