recent stuff I have been engraving on the K40.

I am not sure how interesting this might be but here are the bits and bobs I have been messing around with.
I managed to engrave on a granite tile with the K40 laser, the results are ok, the varying quality of the stone makes it look less than perfect, I am impressed that it cut into the stone at all.

This is an attempt at an earring from 3mm ply. The K40 laser burnt away far too much material and I am still trying to figure out coreldraw / laserdrw...

Again on the K40 and the 3mm ply, some attempts at some mourish coasters I am trying to make. They are only good for shot glasses as they are far too small but again, trying to figure out the coreldraw / laserdrw soft to get a correct cut.

If there is interest I can keep sharing the rest of my attempts and failures, it is after all how one learns!!
To those who worry about the lack of any 2.5W banggood laser work, that is in the pipeline as I seem to only be able to produce burnt paper and cardboard from the K40 laser. The 2.5W bangood laser will get to engrave the kids school supplies, I am making a jig to hole the pens for engraving..
