Bought new laser engraver

Hi,
Been away for a while, sold my old engraver , but missed the damn thing.
Stil busy with the 40Wat co2 laser...still didn't finish it.
But mis the old A3 engraver, so today i bought this one,

and bought the z-axis with 3 axis mana board..

Does anybody on this forum uses the same kind of engraver.. Let me know.

ohh the new a3x. Not many people here have that one.  it is designed to be a modular cnc machine/laser engraver/whatever else they think of.  The modules arent available other than the mill pieces (motor, zaxis, and mana 3 axis).  It should be just as reliable as the a3 pro.

read that this frame and rollers are more sturdy than the old A3 laser versions.
Whe will see what dit version does..
And how the Z-axis functions.
Been away for a while, so have to catch up with all the latest changes in firmware, and software..

And have to find some schematics for the mana 2axis and 3 axis version..

The Z axis attaches with four smae set screws or something like that.

I remember seeing this one on the Eleksmaker website for a while, until they suddenly stopped selling a lot of their stuff direct. They had several modules for it, too. One was like a pick and place tool, and one was even for adding a chocolate or pancake batter dispenser. They had them for sale on the site for a while, I thought. Am i making this up? Does anyone else remember that?

I dunno Steve. Sounds like a dream (or nightmare) to me....except we must have both had the same one

They only had 3D CAD models on their website, and as I understand it none of those actually made it to production.

Nightmare it is... 

Today i assembled the thing.. Isn't that musch better than the A3 pro version... All the same..
The only defference are the rollers These are smooth and tight fit.
The rest is even worse. Liked the 90 degree assembly. But isn't there anymore. Now they stack the Bosch/rexroth profiles on top of each other.

Than the laser, makes an awfull noise. Not only the fan on top op de laser, but even the the coil on top is generating the PWM frequency..
Startted the laser, and my dog vanisched. didn't like the noise i think..
Whe wil see what comes up next. Waiting for the Z axis, and mana 3 axis board...

can't wait to be suprised ....again...

Image is not scharp. Cant focus laser to a thin spot. Looksa like a smal stripe. When i turn it out of focus it's visable.
My old 2.5Watts laser was very sharp... Can this be the fault of the lens..
any sugguestions??
