There was a problem last week but my hosting provider fixed it. I am able to access the site today. If anyone else is having issues post here so I know.

Thanks...

I have a problem.
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

if I use a phone connection no problem.
to use my desktop pc I need to use the site "http://anonymouse.org"

when I test the site with command prompt
tracert -> Impossibile risolvere il nome del sistema di destinazione http://benboxlaser.us.
nslookup-> *** dsldevice.lan non in grado di trovare http://benboxlaser.us: Non-existent domain
ping -> Impossibile trovare l'host http://benboxlaser.us. Verificare che il nome sia corretto e riprovare.
my english is very bad, please be patient. :)

Try clearing your browser cache.

Usually when you can connect OK using your phone, you're connecting with a different network. Using your home PC you're using your ISP internet network, so that might be the problem there.

If you could not connect with your phone then one could say you can't connect via two different networks so the site must be down. But that isn't the case here. If this persists you should call your ISP and see if they are blocking the site for some reason.

That was probably last week when there was a problem with the site. As far as I know this week, the site is up and running. The hosting provider made some hardware and software upgrades to their server farm and had to make a configuration tweak to fix the problem from last week.

The site does need a server with a lot of horse power to run and I have upgraded my hosting account about 3 times since I started the forum to keep up with all the posts and the sheer size of the database, but I don't think that is an issue this time. At some point in the future I will have to upgrade again but for now, we're running on a pretty powerful server.

It seems to be working fine now.  I use Edge and it is set to dump cache when I exit so it probably wasn't a cache issue.....I also tried it on Chrome and Internet Explorer and it did the same thing.

I tried with 2 different PC,
I did all the tests suggested in the web, to empty cash and similar.
 I tried 3 different browsers.
currently the problem is still present. I wrote to my isp.

Hi guys,

Thought I would add a few cents. I'm not having any problems accessing the forum. I am most generally on the site about this time every night. Most of the time I'm not signed just doing the guest thingy.

Have a good night..............

I have been using this forum for several years with no issue this just showed up recently.  I have a really fast service both at home and work.....no issues with any other sites.  I couldn't get to the forum last night but it works now from my business connection.  Bandwidth for a forum is minimal so it shouldn't be an issue. Here are the error details: There was a temporary DNS error. Try refreshing the page. Error Code: INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND.  I would suspect there is still some sort of intermittent issue happening.  Just reporting what I am seeing.

Thanks for the report. If others who are having connection issues also post, I might be able to get to the core problem of what's going on.

Other than last week, I've had no connection problems.

No problems this week, I did get errors several times last week but usually temporary and I was able to get my "fix" later in the day  ::)

I experienced issues last night as well, probably around midnight pacific time.  Constantly got the 'the site is taking too long to respond' type of error.  It's working this morning.

ok it seems to be my router is causing the issue.  Site works on other isp connections.  When I bypass my router and go directly into my cable modem I can connect.  Not sure what setting on my router is off but Linksys wants  money to resolve it.  I'll see if I can fix it myself.
