memory zero position?

Hi everyone,
I have a question on T2:
1 I set homing
2 sets the piece zero
3 start work
4 push the envelope to pause the work and decide that it is not good (x50 y50 coordinates for example)
5 push X and return to the main window to apply changes to the image
- I generate gcode again

and in laser controller the coordinates are now x0 y0 (machine and piece)
Am I doing something wrong or do I need to remember always to reposition lasers in 0.0 before step 5?
it would be nice to go back to the controller and find the coordinates where they were

When you disconnect from the laser (leave the laser control screen) the USB port is closed. This may power down the port and therefore the Nano but it depends on the computer and port. On my laptop I have one USB 3.0 which keeps it powered and 2 USB 2.0 ports which do what you mention. It's fairly common, not a problem if you have home switches but otherwise remember to go to home before disconnecting.

If you don't have home switches, Grbl assumes 0,0 when it boots up.

I have the home switches, and I usually carry the laser in 0.0 but a couple of times I forgot and started again in the wrong place.
