Crooked boarder?

So, I engraved an image onto some 1/4" mdf.

The boarder, as seen in image 1 is perfectly straight.

The engraving came out a bit wobbly.  Any ideas/fixes?

I'm engraving at speed 500, and selected Bi-Directional, skip blank lines, and rapid skip blank. (Takes forever otherwise) But, are these causing the line issues?

That is more than "a bit wobbly"!!! Have tried any of the calibration patterns?

I did the gradient pattern on several materials, to make speed/power adjustments and if I do the 50cm vector box, it is perfect.  It seems to be the raster scan that is slightly out of 'tightness'.  It seemed better if not using the timesaving steps, such as speeding up in the blank areas, but that is SOOOO slow, haha.

What power is your diode?

It's either backlash or due to wobbly wheels, run some vector shapes (circles and squares) to see.

Well I feel stupid now...

I made an intricate pattern of vector circles, within squares, within more circles.  I got the wobble after running the scan, and then discovered that my Y axis wheels were just barely finger tight. I had loosened the x-axis wheels, slid them tight for a really nice tight fit, and had loosened the y axis to do the same, when I must have been called away to do something else and forgot to re-tighten.  Problem solved, grrr.  Thanks for the suggestions guys.
