GRBL 1.1e burning weaker

with GRBL 1.1e the laser does not work at max power, with 0.9i it seems so, both the 5.5W and 15W laser.
Would anyone know what happens?

It is probably because the feed rate is being limited in 0.9 and actual speed in 1.1 so the energy is less, not that the laser is actually lower power.

If you use the T2Laser defaults in both then you should get the exact same result, and use laser max 255.

I did Restore Default and it remains the same, but I noticed that the speed 3000 at 0.9 is slower than at 1.1.
What would be the speed range in the two GRBLs? Just like the laser max is 1000 at 0.9 and 255 at 1.1.

That make no sense. Perhaps you changed the parameters such as the max rate.

Laser max is defined by Grbl parameter $30, it is 255 for all firmware I provide in T2Laser (as it should be since grey scale is 8-bit and the output PWM is 8-bit).

The max feed rate and acceleration values are also defined by Grbl parameters $110 to $122.

Perhaps you have laser mode $32 disabled on Grbl 0.9 which would make it burn much darker but movement won't be as fast or fluid.

If you are using the same Grbl parameters (T2Laser defaults which are correct) then it will be the same in both.

In the Machine menu click Display Grbl Parameters and paste them here so we can see what's going on.

Both GRBL loaded by T2Laser.
I saw that in 0.9i the parameters $ 30, $ 31 and $ 32 do not appear.
I loaded Restore Defauts in the Help menu, I don't know if that is what you say by "use T2Laser defauts", because now that I saw that in the Machine menu, under "Display Grbl Parameters" it has "Send predefined parameters" and "Reset parameters GRBL "

Restore Defaults in the Help menu is for T2Laser settings, I was referring to Send Default Parameters to Grbl from the Machine menu so both versions use the exact same parameters but Grbl 0.9i may still burn darker as it doesn't have the same laser mode as Grbl 1.1 so it is limited by acceleration.

To your original question though, the laser power is the same the difference is due to feed rate.

It seems that everything is right now =]
I used Send Default Parameters, it changed a few things ...
I did some tests, I just have to adjust the settings to find the right spot ...




T2 has many tools that I believe will speed up several processes, but I gradually discover ... only Sketch Plus (Overlay) is already an advantage for me.

Looks to me like it is time to fix/cleanup the artwork. Also using a complex image to adjust machine settings can be frustrating.
