Burn issue
« on: January 13, 2021, 12:52:07 PM »
I'm using an eleksmaker A3. It has been everything and more than I could have hoped for when I bought. I'm also using T2laser to drive it. T2 has also been a joy to use. Suddenly I'm getting a tail, a shadow, or an overburn on my designs. I've cleaned and tightened the belts but I'm still getting it. Open to suggestions as to what may be causing it. Could it be as simple as reducing power?
thanks for any thoughts
Steve

Have you looked at the wheels?  Mine A5 is several years old and when working on it I noticed the grease in the bearings had gotten sticky and didn't turn smoothly and freely as it did originally.  I'm going to clean and oil those bearings and see if it helps on mine.

Can you post a picture? Have you ever cleaned the lens?
